I am pretty well blown away. The past couple of weeks I have received a couple of emails from people that you all have heard on the show that have raised my concern level.
Today I received a email from a listener that said he was leaving the show because he questioned my integrity. I am like what the heck is all that about I am as transparent and open as they come and this person is gonna accuse me of not having integrity..
I really don't get it, I really don't..

Its scary to think there are people like that out there. Try not to let it get to you.

Integrity is a thing you either have or do not have. You have shown total integrity. I would let that comment from a listener roll off your back and charge on. If you did not have integrity, you would know it. You have Integrity.

Thinking back over the past few shows I can only think of one thing that may have offended some people and that would be the "Treehugger" comment when talking about gas prices and drilling for oil, etc.... I personally thought those comments were equivalent to a drive by sound bite and not worthy of your show but hey, that's just me. Either way I wasn't offended and will certainly keep listening.

I don't understand people, if you are a hardcore environmentalist you are a tree-hugger, that simple. No one should take offense to that, I get called fascist at school because i am a republican(how it started i don't know), but i keep to my points and defend my views. Well thats just me going off on my political views, sorry. The point i am trying to make is that people who have views should not care what they are called, but stick to them.
Todd, don't worry, you haven't said anything offensive(because it wasn't), some people just like to go and cause unneeded worry, and disarray.

Geek News has been one of my favorite podcasts for over a year and a half now. I personally have never heard Todd say one thing that has offended me in all that time of listening. However, Todd wondered what was up with certain e-mails, etc.. questioning his integrity and I simply offered up the only thing I can think of that may have gotten some folks worked up. Simple as that. This topic seems as if it were started to ponder this and I'm participating in the pondering...NOT...trying to cause disarray.

Some people just love to be haters. You have a great deal of integrity - even as far as to ask for winners of the contests to call the voice mail line to let the other listeners know that they received their PayPal payments.
I've won two times on GNC contests, once for creating a Podcast Awards promo and another time I won $150 for submitting ideas for http://Blubrry.com. Both times you did exactly what you said you would do and awarded me the money.
This person may leave the show "thinking" you don't have integrity, but your actions have proven to me that you have integrity.

Would Love to hear this persons explanation of the problem. I have listened for a couple of years now, and your honesty & caring is refreshing. Keep up the good work!

One of the vendors that was supposed to send some prizes out from earlier in the year never did. I got it resolved this weekend. This is one of the reasons I am asking contest winners to call in and validate they got their prize this keeps things on a equal level.

Good Going! It is too bad that in this world, things like this have be tracked and watched in order for vendors to be kept honest.
Thank You.

Hey Todd;
I LOVE the show.
I was listening to the "mind of men" podcast today & they were talking about some questionable business practices by your sponser Go Daddy. I have many domains registered through Go Daddy & was curious how you felt about the situation. Hopefully I posted this in the correct forum.
Respectfully;

Hey Todd!
I was listening to the Network World 360 podcast yesterday. They were talking about a new way that rogue websites are installing malware on unsuspecting web surfers. It is called "ClickJacking". Apparently through scripting they are able to hover and invisible button under ones mouse pointer arrow. So no matter where you click on that website you click the invisible button. Numerous things things can happen such as giving permissions for camera & mics or installing any number of things on your system. They also said that Microsoft has known about this for some time. Just thought you could let your listeners be aware.
Be careful out there!
Love the show!!
