Here in No. Virginia, we are not quite at $4 a gal. yet. But, the price goes up at least one penny per day. I think speculators and those that want to force us to drill off FL and CA and in the Artic Wildlife Refuge area are behind the scenes in this OBscene price gouge.

On my side of the river (Missouri) we are still under $4. But on the Illinois side it is over $4. And diesel is 4.58. Scary!

It's interesting you mention fuel V diesel prices, Susabelle. For ages here in Australia, diesel was cheaper than standard unleaded. However for the best part of the last 12 months (if not more), diesel is about 20 cents dearer than standard unleaded.

Yes Deisel was cheaper here for years. It has swapped now, and the truckers are complaining loudly!!

The old cheap diesel was dirty like shit, that was why it was cheap. When they were forced to reduce the sulfur content, prices shot up. In addition to that, diesel is very similar to the oil you use for warming houses, and the price of that has risen too.
